If you are looking to buy your dog a bed then you should remember that the size of your pet is an important factor. If you own a large dog, then you should get him a bed that fits his size. Otherwise, he will just end up uncomfortable in his own bed. There are now dog beds for large dogs that can accommodate even the biggest and bulkiest dogs. Some large dog breeds include the Saint Bernard, the Dalmatian, the Greyhound and the Great Dane. To make sure that you are buying the right size, measure the length of your dog while he is sleeping then add approximately 12 inches on all sides.
